The Wonersh Players

The Wonersh Players is an amateur dramatic society that write, produce and perform their own pantomimes. They are an easy going, like-minded group of friends who enjoy putting on a show, but don't take it too seriously. The quality of the costumes and scenery are second to none, and the scripts are both traditional and innovative.

The Wonersh Players have been in existence for over 25 years, always performing at the Wonersh Memorial Hall, usually during the February Half Term Holiday, with rehearsals starting the previous October.

If you would like to join the Wonersh Players, as an actor, a musician or on the Production Team, feel free to get in touch with us through the Contact Us page of this site. New members are always welcome.

Summer and Autumn 2008

Backdrops

Charlie and Glyn hope to wash down some of the backdrops on a Saturday during July. Please let us know if you can help.

Barbecue

We are very grateful to Jan for hosting our annual summer barbecue on Sunday 31 August 2008. Please RSVP to the invite arriving on your doorstep soon. There will be a bouncy castle for the children and bring a bottle for yourself. Feel free to bring along any friends or family who are interested in joining us

Games Evening

We will be holding another games evening at Wonersh Village Club on Saturday 13 September 2008 from 8:00pm onwards. We play all the usual club games (darts, snooker, shuffleboard, shove ha'penny etc) and the winning team will be presented the "Den Fisher Trophy". Please let us know if you can make it as the Club will need a guest list (and if you're not on the list .....)
